Transportation Challenges in the Mekong Delta
The Mekong Delta, often referred to as the “Rice Bowl of Vietnam,” is a region of vast rivers, canals, and waterways. While this unique landscape supports agriculture and fishing, it also presents major transportation challenges for local residents. Many rural communities lack proper bridges, making it difficult for children to reach school, farmers to transport goods, and families to access essential services like healthcare and markets.
In many areas, people rely on unstable wooden bridges or boats to travel, which can be unsafe—especially during the rainy season. The absence of reliable infrastructure hinders economic growth and access to better opportunities for thousands of people.
Wana Beverage’s Commitment to Building a Better Future
As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Wana Beverage is proud to sponsor the construction of Van Phuc Bridge in Hau Giang with a donation of VND 50 million. This new bridge will provide a safe and stable route for the local community, helping to improve daily commutes and enhance the quality of life for residents.
The Van Phuc Bridge spans 30 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width, with a fully equipped lighting system. This ensures safe and convenient travel for the residents of My Chanh A and My Quoi B hamlets in Phung Hiep District, Hau Giang Province.
At Wana, we believe that giving back to society is just as important as growing our business. By contributing to infrastructure development, we hope to create long-term positive change in underprivileged areas.
Supporting Children in Need
