Sustainability is a word we hear often, but real progress doesn’t happen overnight. We understand that change comes from action, not just promises. As a beverage company, we are aware of the resources we use. We know our industry impacts the environment, and while we can’t change everything at once, we can take steady, meaningful steps. We’re not making bold declarations. We’re making a real contribution, however small, to something bigger than ourselves. That’s why, in 2025, we are going to plant 2,550 trees in partnership with Joy Foundation.
Wana’s Commitment to Sustainability
At Wana, we’ve set a clear and ambitious vision for the future of our sustainability efforts, rooted in long-term commitment and collective action.
Our plan goes beyond planting trees—it’s about creating a sustainable future that involves our entire community. The first step is reducing our carbon footprint through extensive reforestation projects. But we know that true environmental impact comes when we all come together to protect the planet. That’s why our focus is not only on increasing green spaces but also on fostering awareness and engagement among our staff and the local communities where we work.
Planting Trees – Small but Steady
Our Plan to Reduce Our Carbon Footprint
Through our tree-planting initiatives, we aim to restore ecosystems, create vital habitats, and contribute to global reforestation. But alongside this, we are actively working to educate and involve everyone—from our employees to local residents—about the importance of environmental protection. Our efforts go beyond the physical act of planting; they include creating a shared understanding of the steps we must all take to preserve the world around us.
We are determined to continue this journey with the vision of planting 50,000 trees by 2030, strengthening our role as a leader in environmental responsibility, and inspiring others to take action too. This is just the beginning, and with the collective effort of our teams, partners, and the communities we engage with, we can make a real and lasting difference.
Our Progress So Far
We have made significant strides in our reforestation journey, laying a strong foundation for the future:
- Partnering with Gaia – In 2024, we began our tree planting initiatives with Gaia, starting small but ensuring a steady and impactful approach to reforestation.
- Scaling Up with Gaia – Later in 2024, we increased our efforts significantly, working with Gaia to plant many more trees, marking an important milestone in our sustainability journey.
- Expanding with Joy Foundation – In 2025, we are partnering with Joy Foundation to continue our work, focusing on key reforestation areas and ensuring that every tree planted has long-lasting environmental benefits.
These early efforts represent our ongoing commitment to steady and impactful growth. We’re excited about continuing to expand our reforestation initiatives and creating a greener, more sustainable future.
Partnership with Joy Foudation in Wana’s 2025 Green Scheme
Introducing Joy Foundation

The Vision of the Forest Garden Project (Vườn Rừng Scheme)
Vườn Rừng (Forest Garden Scheme) is a key initiative by Joy Foundation that focuses on restoring entire ecosystems. Through this project, the foundation works to:
- Reintroduce native species of trees to restore biodiversity.
- Enrich soil quality and improve water retention in the land.
- Protect wildlife habitats and create sustainable green spaces.
The Vườn Rừng Project is a long-term, holistic approach to forest restoration, ensuring that the reforestation efforts have lasting impact and that the ecosystems can thrive for future generations.
Collaboration in Progress: Planting 2,550 Trees in Núi Ông Reserve
Nui Ong Wildlife Reserve
Nui Ong Wildlife Reserve, located in Binh Thuan, is a rich biodiversity hub, home to over 1,000 plant and animal species. It spans 24,355 hectares and is known for its lush forests, covering 93% of the area. The reserve is particularly significant for its unique mix of Indo-Malaysian and ancient subtropical species. Notably, it houses endangered species such as tigers, leopards, and several rare plants, making it a critical conservation area. This stunning ecosystem is a key focus for Wana’s reforestation initiatives, aiming to support both the local environment and community engagement efforts.
Our Active Involvement
In June 2025, Wana’s employees will travel to Nui Ong to participate directly in the planting of these trees. Working closely with local communities and conservation experts, we will ensure that each tree is planted with care and will be monitored for its long-term growth.
This initiative is not just about giving resources; it’s about taking action and getting involved. We are committed to following up on the progress of the trees, ensuring they thrive, and continuing to support reforestation efforts in the future.
