On the chilly autumn day of September 17th, amidst the joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Wana Beverage was present in Chieng Khoong commune, Song Ma district, Sơn La province, to join in the festive spirit of the new school year and celebrate the inauguration of Pung Kieng Kindergarten, a part of 8/3 Kindergarten in Chieng Khoong. This event not only marks a significant step forward in improving the quality of education in the area but also demonstrates Wana’s commitment to contributing to community development.
Pung Kieng Kindergarten Project
Pung Kieng Kindergarten was funded by Wana Beverage in 2023, in collaboration with the program “The Power of 2000 – Spare Change Builds New Schools” under the Em Raising System. After more than eight months of renovation and construction, the school, which consists of two classrooms, has been completed and is ready to welcome the children. With modern and safe facilities, this school promises to be an ideal learning environment where children can develop holistically both physically and spiritually.
A Meaningful Gift
It is hoped that this gift will make it easier for the children to attend school, eliminating the hardships and distances they faced before. The new school will open doors for them to explore the vast world, learn about letters, and engage with their favorite cartoon characters from films. Wana Beverage believes that a good learning environment will nurture rich souls and great dreams in these young children.
Moreover, friendly and engaging learning tools equip the school, sparking curiosity and exploration in each child. The curriculum includes various fun and educational activities, helping children develop social skills and creative thinking from an early age.
